Dr. Eva Ranehill to join the University of Gothenburg
We are pleased to announce that, starting September 2017, Dr. Eva Ranehill will join the Department of Economics at the University of Gothenburg as a post doc. A paper by Dr. Adan L. Martinez-Cruz is now available in the online version of Ecological Economics.
The paper "Assessing Impacts From Climate Change on Local Social-ecological Systems in Contexts Where Information is Lacking: An Expert Elicitation in the Bolivian Altiplano" is available online. This paper will be of interest to researchers working on innovative methodologies to measure potential impacts of climate change events in contexts where systematically-collected information is lacking. Dr. Adan L. Martinez-Cruz to join as an Assistant Professor at CIDE
We are pleased to announce that, starting August 2017, Dr. Adan L. Martinez-Cruz will join the Centro de Investigacion y Docencia Economicas (CIDE), campus Region Centro, located in the Mexican city of Aguascalientes. We are also glad that Dr. Martinez-Cruz will keep his collaboration with CEPE, mostly focused on SCCER-related topics. We wish him the best of luck. Read more

Hydropower is Switzerland's major energy resource. However, it currently is in financial distress and utilities have started asking for subsidies on a federal level. New visiting researcher: Sébastien Houde
CEPE is pleased to welcome Sébastien Houde as a visiting researcher to Zürich. Sébastien is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Department of Agricultural and Resources Economics at University of Maryland (UMD). His areas of research interest are: Energy and Environmental Economics, Empirical Industrial Organization, Field Experiments, and Behavioral Economics. Read more
