Modifications: new ITS department Service Delivery / new Helpdesk group instead of Call Center / new Helpdesk opening hours

The ITS is comprised of 7 divisions http://www.its.ethz.ch.

- Since Jan.1st 2011 the ITS-Helpdesk group is integrated into the new

ITS-Service Delivery (SDL) division.

- The former call center, newly responsible for extended support tasks,

is part of the Helpdesk group and has been renamed.

- Helpdesk opening hours have been changed as follows: Monday-Thursday

8-18 o'clock, Friday 8-17 o'clock.

The Helpdesk is the first point of contact for all IT-related questions which cannot be addressed to the responsible division directly.

Contact persons, Tolga Coban (Head), Mark Busch, Caroline Stucki and Joel Greuter, remain the same.

The new Service Delivery division offers fully comprehensive support for standard IT services (commodity services). The support teams assist the departmental IT Support Groups (ISG) offering local support if desired (current collaboration with D-BIOL und D-GESS). The synergy potential will be used to increase efficiency.
