Condition to obtain the confirmation of course attendance, which is required for the admission to the examination:

Solve and deliver 2 out of 5 exercise sheets (Exercise 1 does not count towards these 2)

Exams Exam:
Date: Thursday, March 1, from 17:15 to 18:45;  

Room: HG E5

Duration: 90 minutes

Information for the Exam:
Lecture notes, books and any documents or materials are not allowed; A simple, non-programmable calculator without graphics functions can be used; Please use a pen and not a pencil; A non-electronic dictionary is allowed; Student ID card must be brought for identification.

Goal
The objective of the course is to introduce basic principles, problems and approaches of microeconomics and industrial organization. 

The course includes the following main topics:

Basic principles of demand and supply, market and state in a modern economy, externalities, cost analysis, consumer behaviour, economies of scale and economies of scope, perfect competition, monopoly, oligopoly, monopolistic competition, barriers to entry, market concentration, market power
